This vine is included in the milkweed family. It grows wild in parts of the United States and South America. It’s common names include. Talayote, Tuza, cochamper, huisamper, champerla, chives, chipuipos, chicuipos, guacucas, guacucos. The edible fruit flavor resembles chayote squash, but they are not as juicy as chayote squash. The tender cooked seeds are the best part of the fruit.
